Billing & refunds
This page explains in plain language how charges and refunds work. It summarises section 3 and 4 of the Terms of Service; if the two ever differ, the Terms apply.
What you are charged for
Only successful requests through the Playground or /v1/systemone are charged, and only for input tokens. Output tokens are free. The exact number of tokens is returned with every response, and your balance is shown in the Dashboard.
Failed requests are returned automatically
If a request fails upstream or times out, the tokens reserved for it are returned to your balance without you doing anything. You do not need to contact us for this.
Token packs and plans
- One-time packs are a single payment, never expire and do not renew.
- Subscription tokens are granted for the billing period (a yearly plan grants the full year up front). Unused paid tokens roll over.
- Tokens have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by jevmodel.org.
Asking for a refund or reporting a billing mistake
If you were charged twice, charged for something you did not receive, or bought tokens by mistake, email support@jevmodel.org from the address on your account and include the receipt or the approximate time of the payment. We review each request individually and answer by email. Applicable consumer rights are not excluded.
Cancelling a subscription
To cancel a plan before its next renewal, email support@jevmodel.org from your account address. Tokens you have already received stay in your balance.
Not affiliated with TypeSafe
jevmodel.org is an independent service. Billing with TypeSafe, OpenRouter or Vercel is separate and is governed by their own terms.
