Two ways to create a Jev account
The official route is the TypeSafe console at console.typesafe.ai: sign in with Google or an email code, create an API key under API Keys, and call TypeSafe’s endpoint directly. TypeSafe has changed its sign-up rules since launch, so check the console for the current status.
jevmodel.org is an independent site that runs the same Jev model behind its own account system. You can try it in the browser without any account (10,000 input tokens), sign in with Google or email for 100,000 more, and create a jevmodel.org API key in the Dashboard. It is not operated by TypeSafe.
Sign up on jevmodel.org in four steps
Nothing to install and no card to add.
- Open the Playground at /playground/ and run the example. Guests get 10,000 input tokens.
- Choose Sign in and continue with Google, or enter your email and verify it with the 6-digit code.
- If you used email, set a password. Your 100,000 sign-up tokens are added once.
- Open the Dashboard, create an API key, and POST to https://jevmodel.org/v1/systemone.
Is there a Jev invite code?
No. Early access in launch week relied on a waitlist and invites. The waitlist page was removed on 21 September 2026 and sign-up is open to anyone. If a site asks you to pay for an “invite”, it is not the official process.
If the verification email does not arrive
Most missing codes come down to a few causes. Work through them in order before you try a different address.
- Wait two minutes, then press Resend code. The button unlocks after 60 seconds.
- Check spam, promotions and any quarantine your mail provider keeps for new senders.
- Make sure the address is spelled correctly; the code is sent to exactly what you typed.
- Use Continue with Google. It does not depend on email delivery.
- Still stuck? Write to [email protected] from the same address and say which step failed.
FAQ
How do I sign up for Jev?
Either create an account in the official TypeSafe console at console.typesafe.ai, or start on jevmodel.org: open the Playground, choose Sign in, and continue with Google or an email address. The jevmodel.org account gives you 100,000 free input tokens and an API key from the Dashboard.
Do I need a Jev invite code?
No. Launch week (15 September 2026) used early access with a waitlist, and the waitlist URL was removed on 21 September 2026. Neither the TypeSafe console nor jevmodel.org asks for an invite code.
Is signing up for Jev free?
Creating an account is free on both. On jevmodel.org no card is required and the first sign-in adds 100,000 input tokens. TypeSafe bills usage at $0.042 per million input tokens with output free, and its console showed a monthly credit in September 2026.
How do I log in to Jev?
Use the same method you signed up with: Google, or your email and password. On jevmodel.org choose Sign in at the top of the page; for the official API console go to console.typesafe.ai.
Why am I not getting the Jev verification code?
Codes usually arrive within a minute and can take up to two. Check spam or promotions, confirm the address is spelled correctly, and use Resend code after 60 seconds. If your own domain has a DNS or mail-server problem the message can bounce; continuing with Google avoids email delivery altogether.
